Workflow

TAKATSU’s One-Stop engineering procedure &
efficient production workflow

For almost a century, we have been the trusted partner to many product creators.
TAKATSU’s One-Stop engineering procedure includes concept-making, designing, manufacturing and after-installation maintenance.
Our efficient production workflow is described below.

Proposal &
Concept-making

Our proposal is based on detailed analyses of your needs, the schedule and price.
One of our specialties is building a virtual factory line on 3D motion graphics to simulate how the installed systems operate.

Design

Stamping Dies: we analyze formability of sheet materials on 3D graphics to detect possible mechanical troubles before designing.
Production Facilities & Hemming Systems: we design facilities after solving technical problems that have been detected in the virtual factory line.

Manufacture

Stamping Dies: we assemble components of the dies, following the process of mold manufacturing with the use of various CNC machines.
Production Facilities & Hemming Systems: we set up major components of the entire unit, while assembling electric circuits simultaneously.

Inspection &
Correction

Stamping Dies: we test the functional performance of dies with the inspection.
Production Facilities & Hemming Systems: we test the functional performance of facilities to assure both safety and accuracy.

Installation &
Maintenance

Our delivery and installation service includes the final assurance of functions and accuracy of facilities set in your factory.
We offer a broad range of maintenance services to benefit from the long-term use of the installed facilities.

Softwares

Continuous quality improvement with PDCA

TAKATSU engineers support from the beginning of the concept-building. We enhance our One-Stop engineering procedure of concept-making, designing, manufacturing, and installation as we collect both positive and negative data for continuous quality improvement with PDCA cycle at every single process.

Production Facilities & Hemming systems: 3D simulation

We offer the best work environment for both people and machines by creating and operating facilities on 3D motion graphics. In the production lines with industrial robots, we program robot on software in advance in order to shorten working time at the project site.

Stamping dies: 3D formability analysis

In stamping die production, we analyze formability of sheet materials before designing dies. Detecting and pre-solving potential issues at the earliest stage of production will increase productivity of the stamping dies as well as reducing the production time and costs.
TAKATSU engineers offer a broad range of solutions to your technical and technological issues and questions.

Other Machines

Here are some of the machines in our factories.
We install the mechanical link servo press machine for new materials, such as high-tensile, CFRP and CFRTP.
We also install 3D measurement facilities not only for evaluating the finished products but for developing the analysis technology.

Mechanical Link
Servo Press
Manufacturer: AMINO Corp.

One of the features of this press machine is to stop at bottom-dead-center. Other features include stable die cushions and variable speed settings controlled by servo mechanism. We use this machine to satisfy a broad range of customer needs such as metal molding and resin molding.

ATOSⅢ
Triple Scan
Manufacturer: GOM mbh

ARGUS 24M
Manufacturer: GOM mbh

TAKATSU mainly uses ATOS III Triple Scan for measuring stamping dies to assure their qualities before shipping. We have also developed the reverse-engineering technology to apply the collected data to new projects.
RGUS 24M analyzes strains and thickness reduction rates of sheet materials. In addition, TAKATSU engineers work on the improvement of analysis technology, interacting the collected data with the original designs.

Vectron
VMC 6000
Manufacturer: VECTRON International

With both contact and non-contact sensors, VMC6000 enables us to assure the qualities of our products.
